Print Group Inc established in January 2003, has mastered the art of sheet-fed offset printing. Our showpiece six-color Heidelberg Speedmaster printing press can handle paper stock up to 28” x 40″ in size and features an in-line aqueous coating tower, making your most difficult projects print effortlessly.  Our pressmen are more critical in matching color than most customers and are known for offering ideas on new coatings and techniques.

Our presses can run up to 15,000 sheets per hour on a wide selection of paper stocks for 60# text to 18-point cover stock. Our variety of presses allows us to offer our customers a wide variety of coatings like varnish and aqueous coatings and inline perforation.

The efficiency of our automated plate to press G7 compliant Fuji plating system allows for faster setup times and accurate color matching. Our skilled pressmen are meticulous in maintaining consistent color matching throughout the entire job.  Our clients have come to expect their printing jobs to be consistent from sheet to sheet and uniform throughout the entire job.

Special Coatings

Choosing the right coating for you high-quality printing piece can create a dramatic impact and take your printing project to the next level. The Print group press department offers a variety of coatings. Typically a special coating is applied to a coated paper stock. Coated paper stock’s nonporous finish allowing the coating to remain on the surface of the printed sheet.

Varnish Coatings are applied during the printing process. They are used to enhance the look and quality of a printed piece or protect it from scratches due to handling and moisture. Varnishes can sometimes be tinted creating special effects. When designing your printed piece you can decide whether you want a spot varnish on a particular image or a full coating of the entire press sheet.

Aqueous Coatings are a water-based coating that is applied by a special printing tower on the printing press. Aqueous coatings are typically used to provide the printed sheet with protection from fingerprints and other blemishes. Aqueous coatings are becoming more common due to their resistance to yellowing and they are more environmentally friendly than varnishes.

Binding and Finishing Options

From design in pre-press to printing your project your job will travel through many steps. One of the most important steps in the bindery department. Print Group Inc.’s bindery department shares space with the offset sheetfed printing department. Once your printing project has been printed and the ink and coatings have had sufficient time to dry they are transferred to the bindery department for finishing operations. Our full-service bindery department offers many finishing solutions will then cutting and collating to scoring, folding, stitching, drilling, and preparing your final product for shipment or transfer to our in-house full-service mailing department. Our bindery professional pay close attention to details and will finish your printing job to the highest quality of standard in the printing industry.
